We like this place is beautiful and the terrace with the grapes (weinhof gives great atmosphere, the brisket was good and my children love the deep fried oreo. there is a good balance between cost and service.
Friends, this must be among the best BBQ joints of all time! the restaurant is 15 minutes to walk from the zocolo, but I would crawl on my lips if I had to. the interieur is really beautiful with a weeping covered center and various sitting levels. I ordered the ribs, my man the briske. wow. my mouth only pours on it. the ribs were so fleshy, so smokey, so rich in taste. the braut was perfection. the BBQ sauce had a nice kick. the riders the best of my last 3 weeks in mexiko. they also had a nice list of sides. the drinks were offered at a reasonable price. there is nothing to love at this place! the restaurant is open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but it is worth waiting. delicious!
We visited the santo chancho on Sunday with the family and the experience was great. first the place has its own personality, very cozy and casual, perfectly suited for groups of friends and family. the porridges are very good, the sweet mais. and the french fries with dip are excellent next orders. the desserts are traditional recipes of family and friends of the owners. the nubes and the erdnus butter cheesecake are good choices. it is important to arrive before 3 o'clock, as the ribs can be gone, as these are the best choice for visitors.
New restaurant. Lovely courtyard. Very informal. Limited menu with tacos, burgers, or plain-ol heaps of brisket or pulled pork. Generous servings . And perfect Mac'n'cheese! Beer and wine. Very reasonable prices. And the habañero BBQ sauce is yummy!
