A hidden gem for Asian cuisine. The restaurant is impeccably clean and the service is always great. The food is always served hot and is consistent quality. I enjoy the low-key atmosphere.
Horrible service and the food was worse. I?m not sure what it was that I actually ate. I ordered the sesame chicken. My glass sat empty from halfway thru my meal until I paid. The server was inattentive. I felt like a ghost and there was only 3 other tables being served at the slow time between lunch and dinner rush.
Staff is very nice. Ambiance is nice, too. Very clean. Food? Nope. Not good. I had chicken and veggies and it had zero flavor. Nothing. The egg roll was tough and wouldn?t go down easily even though I chewed it well. My first and last visit. Sorry, House Of Joy. No joy for me. JF
Not a lot of flavor. The egg drop soup was good but the rest of the meal was disappointing. I got spicy chicken but the only thing with flavor was the jalapeños; the chicken and sauce didn't have much flavor on its own. Others in the group were disappointed as well. And even though everyone ordered their own food, everything was brought out on family plates, so you had to scoop everything onto your own plate which got messy.
