Shang Hao - San Antonio De Belen

There are so few people doing reviews at these restaurants by the Double Tree Hotel. We took a chance and came anyway. We are not disappointed. Good service. The place looks empty but we are here in low season. More people did come in after I took photos. The food was great. The price was reasonable. The service was good. If I had to complain I'd say I asked for water and got bottled water. I simply wanted a glass. I'd definitely come again. My huge meal had noodles, chicken, ham, shrimp, beef and veggies. Super reasonable. I think it was 4800 colones. Ignore the bad reviews and try this place.

Good Chinese at reasonable prices. The place which was decorated staight out of my childhood in the US was empty except for one Chinese couple when I went as we ate early. The service was friendly and efficient. The gyoza were good, but the shrimp and chicken kung pao was delish... served in a bowl of crispy, fried egg noodles, and more oil than I would use, but so delish. Very fresh, both chicen and shrimp cooked perfectly, crisp veg, and great heat/savoury/slightly sweet balance in the sauce.

The best Chinese food today. The was was absolutely fantastic very good flavors. Worst part was getting full I just wanted to keep eating! We got the two person special; hot and sour soup was amazing, egg rolls amazing, rice is a must order, with chicken. Definitely going back again!

BE CAREFUL THEY ADDED 23% of 'tax and service ' FROM YOUR BILL DESPITE THE FACT THE IN THE MENU IT IS WRITTEN IT IS ALREADY INCLUDED TAX. When confronted that the menu said it is already included they will say that we have a new menu we have not updated. SUCH A OLD CLASSIC WAY TO CHEAT CUSTOMER. Such a pity because I liked the food I ordered here. YOU NEED TO DO HONEST BUSINESS IF YOU WANT YOUR BUSINESS TO GROW.

Please save yourself from this overpriced disastrous place with zero ambience and tasteless food! Not to mention the nonexistent customer service! Everything in this place will disappoint you! We entered the almost empty place at 8:49pm. After 10 minutes of waiting to be sit, another hour of waiting to 10:10pm to get our food! Mind you – three tables were occupied, and the place is quite big! The person who took our order had a hard times even remembering what we ordered – and we were just 3 people who ordered 4 dishes! She completely disappeared until at 10pm. Tired of waiting and hungry we asked another person to just pay for the drinks and call it a night. Only then suddenly food showed up, and what unpleasant surprise! Everything looked disgusting! Seriously overcooked, unappealing, and tasteless! Outraged, I pointed out to one of the women, who looked like either the owner or person in charge, the “spring rolls” we were served, and asked her if she would eat this creation. She looked embarrassed and confused and promised to take it off the bill. We did not touch the joke of the food and asked for the bill. Waited another 20 minutes for it! The disaster of a dinner costed us over $70! Expensive, low quality, and plain rip off! Save your money! The place does not deserve your business! What a complete disappointment!
