Flame Broiler - San Clemente

Bland food, nice service around 4:20 PM. This type of formula places are rarely very good, still loyal customers kept showing up to pick up food. Vegetables, white rice, and half chicken/half beef. Saw absolutely zero flames, more like a conventional grill. 3 Stars.

I met a family member here , and did not have lunch...but ended up having some bites of their teriyaki chicken brown rice bowl.. Which turned out to be very good. Very casual place to get a quick bite or take out and get on your way. The shopping area was very congested at noon...and parking was a challenge. I'd will likely go back when at a later hour and check it on the way home from OC. It is an easy on, easy off the freeway. If I had a full meal, I would likely rate it higher. My family member gets lunch there often because it is good, quick, and inexpensive. He recommeded it highly, and has a big appetite...so it must have merit...and the prices on their menu were modest.

This place seems to close when they feel like closing, regardless of posted times. Closed today at 4:30.

The woman who makes the food has her brain in her big toes and gives people slim meat and old rotten avocado, even the rice was crisp. Someone gets this woman a plastic bag and puts her over her head.

Eating is easy, but good. Service was good, but dinning area. Tables could use some more cleaning.
