Jd's Kitchen - San Clemente

I visited JD's for a private party and it was just a relaxing perfect location. The food was a Taco guy and a dessert table which was perfect for this 5pm-9pm event and was completely family friendly. Even my dog was able to attend, not sure if it was because it was a private party or if they allow them until about 9pm. When I originally asked about if he was welcome they got back to me with in about an hour off their website. I was impressed by how quickly they responded. This is a great place to hold an adults birthday party or an engagement party or even a divorce party.... OK OK I just like a reason to celebrate and get people together. Thank you for even having cornhole upstairs it was great!!!!

The security guards here acted like we were at fucking the soho house and took much ID tonight when I have been there for several weekends this past month. I'm confused on how every day my ID has been Okay and today it was fake. I truly hope they get their minimum wage for guarding this **** hole because they were doing way too much for a mere 20 an hour. Considering I have a bill from here the night before on my credit card. But again to each is own but would not recommend. Good for him tho this is prob the highlight of his night maybe he will get an extra tip for each fake: if not tho def not worth my tantrum but he must need the cash

The main bouncer was really creepy, he tried to get my friend to stay after hours to talk and got mad at her when she said she needed to sleep. He also grabbed one of my friends really tightly on his arm and bruised him. I am really disappointed in the way this bouncer treated us, JD 's should do better.

Food: GIBRONI 'S FOOD IS WONDERFUL service: bouncer at private event made the place douchey , restricted, not welcoming, rude. Ambiance: looked lovely watching from the sidewalk outside. The internet is so amazing. If you close seating to your partner dining establishment Gibronis, post it online: Yelp, website for the food place. Maybe even a calendar of events. Help your patrons know not to drive 50 miles in LA traffic on a Friday night to share a lovely dining experience only to be turned away at the door like its some night club for D-bags. Gibronis, great food, Food runner tonight was pleasant and quick. For the love of God. Gibronis, please get your own place. Ordered a pizza to go for later since I live 50 miles away and only get to eat here every couple of months. Thanks JD 's for closing for a private party and not having notifications anywhere to let fans pay for more than a beer. Pizza was great as always. Unfortunately the bouncer at JD 's was rude and wouldn 't even let me use the bathroom after I explained I LITERALLY drove two hours with my out of state boyfriend to eat there (I 'm from Michigan) and he 's like.. .hmmmm...ummm....uhhhh... I guess if you buy pizza.. . like thanks for being a snob bro , this isn 't exactly fine dining, you told me to get my pizza online and go to another bar. Yeah totally what I drove two hours for and my friend 1 hour for on a busy work evening. I couldn 't let my boyfriend go without at least TRYING the pizza, so we got some to go after having our visit with friends elsewhere. DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE DUE TO JD 's lack of communication. You have Google, Yelp, and Instagram and yet NOWHERE says you were closed for a private event.

Merrick is awesome. he is the best security guard ever! he really does keep the place secured and feels safe!
