It is pet friendly for patio dining. When we were there they had a very unique coffee flavored with mushroom powder. Sounds odd and gross, right? It was surprisingly delicious. We had one cold and one hot. Both were equally tasty. The coffee flavor was robust and smooth. The mushroom powder, cream and other flavors blended into the coffee were a surprisingly delicious combination. The crepes were light, large, well filled and SO GOOD! They were: Scrambled Egg, Bacon, Spinach, Cheddar, and Tomato another was like the one just named with Brie instead of cheddar. The last one was Pesto, Artichoke, Red Peppers, Feta and Arugula. It is casual dining where you can relax and enjoy a leisurely meal. We will definitely revisit HOB Coffee on Park. I feel confident that no matter what is served, it is sure to please.
A very fine establishment with great coffee and decor. I don’t know why they put this phenomenal Kobe art in the bathroom. I wish it was out and about and showing. Espresso here is top notch, not sure if they have glassware. Only downside is that there is scarce parking around here. Not their fault of course and anyone from SD knows this is common nonetheless. Actually there is paid parking across the street I believe. We parked farther and walked. My gf liked the bread loaf here but I can’t remember what it was called. Next time I’m gonna try the cold brew. Service was friendly and fast and they look like they have some cool merchandise here as well but I didn’t buy anything.bath
Got a King Slayer latte and banana bread. Latte was delish and b bread also good. Cool vibes plenty of seating. Friendly staff and not too busy. Mahalooooo
Found this place while vacationing this past week, and what a Gem. Place was large with ample seating. There is a removable wall in the middle of the floor, which was open and invited fresh air while eating. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Coffee was delicious, and I tried the Kings coffee as well as one infused with lavender, which I typically don't like, but rather enjoyed. Food was also very fresh and delicious. No parking lot, but street parking was easily found.
Hob has a pleasant little space for an afternoon sit sip. The menu is focused a bit more on creative addons than the quality of their espresso itself, and that's exactly where they excel they have some truly notable proprietary drinks that are well worth a try. The taro latte is a personal favorite. If you're a third wave coffee purist, this may not be your place, but if you're a seasonally flavored latte kind of person, this spot should definitely be on your list.
