Sabuku Sushi - San Diego

Sushi took a long time to come out. Pricey for what it is. Expected better flavor.

The food was decent, but service was not the best. Despite being the only one in the restaurant, we were consistently interrupted and felt rushed. Services pushed and up sold on an expensive bottle of Saki and charged for an item that was never served.

The food was delicious and the service was great. The oysters were not only a great value but fresh and tasty. All the sushi was made according to our needs and the presentation was lovely. Though it was slow to get the food (we were there right when they opened on a holiday weekend), but we were not in any rush and it was worthwhile! Only note is that they don’t do anything special for birthdays.

Great food and service! Not too loud so you can hear eachother talk and our waiter was great!

The aesthetic of the place is super nice and the sushi tasted very very good. Bathrooms of the place is also super nice would 100% go again.
