Tahona - San Diego

I went to this restaurant with some friends for lunch to enjoy tapas and drinks. The restaurant had a nice outdoor seating area with several tables and the weather was perfect. We were greeted by a friendly staff member who took us to the bar to order our drinks. The drink selection was extensive and diverse. The bartender helped us choose drinks based on our preferences and even suggested tequilas for us to try later. The drinks were fantastic and exactly what we needed on a hot day. We also ordered some delicious food (unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the dish) which was well-prepared, flavorful, and paired perfectly with our drinks. I would definitely return to this restaurant. I highly recommend it!

The hostess did not come across as very friendly, but everything else was fantastic. The tacos were surprisingly satisfying. We started with sopecitos as an appetizer and sampled four different cocktails, all of which were excellent. I had visited Tahona in Mexico before, so I had high expectations, but I was impressed overall.

I went to this restaurant on Saturday with a couple of friends. We ordered the vegetarian guacamole, a couple of taco flights, and a few drinks. The margarita was good, but the Paloma was a bit weak. The guacamole was tasty, and the two vegetarian tacos were decent. The squash blossom option was better than the other one. The service was friendly, but they seated our group of three at a small table for two when there was a larger option available. Additionally, they switched our Mezcal order without informing us, giving us a cheaper brand and a larger pour. It would have been appreciated if they had asked us before making the change.

Como se dice ?dank sauce?? Delicious tacos, aps, and drinks! I had the watermelon cocktail and it was perfectly smooth, refreshing, and dangerously delectable. Then had shishito peppers and the queso birria tacos y pollo pastor tacos. The peppers were great and had a nice corn flake to them. The tacos were fresh, filling, and so good. Definitely coming back to try more items and check out the whiskey speakeasy.

I can highly recommend this place. had the mezcal tasting and got some tacos that were outstanding! definitely come back. Oh, and, make sure to go to her too. super cool ambiente, excellent bartenders and drinks
