But if you happen to be in the neighborhood and are looking for a quick fix of Thai food, this place does the trick just fine. The inside is very small and plain so we usually just do take-out.
So I ordered an order of spring rolls $6 an order of edamame $6 and a sprite $2 .... Total 15.09 and I handed him $21 never got my change back still owed $5) do not go here the do not give change back .
Ordered from here once and it was really fresh and tasty!
Wow what a delicious meal! If you're looking for flavor and spice in your curry then look no further because Turmeric Kitchen is your place. Both the yellow curry and green curry are top notch. We also got the mixed vegetable stir fry which was very flavorful. We tried spice level 4 in our curries and it was just right when it comes to flavor and spice. I think next time I'll try level 5 or 6 because I like a good kick to my curry. On top of all this great food was excellent and friendly customer service. Enjoy either dine in or takeout from Turmeric Kitchen.
There has been a long interval of change at this location. Previous owner Chris and his wife made great food. Then Covid came. Then they moved out of state and sold the business (previous place was called Lilac Thai? So when Turmeric first opened we tried it once, but we were underwhelmed for various but perhaps trivial treasons. Recently we went back. It currently appears to be for take out only, and so the food seems to be ready quicker. Not sure if they are redecorating or remodeling inside? Maybe they will have seating again in the future? We ordered Pineapple Fried Rice with Tofu for our daughter (you have to specify steamed vs fried depending on tastes. We ended up liking this dish even more than our daughter. The fresh spring rolls seemed pre made but quality was not affected and the sauces were great. Coconut shrimp was hot and crispy. Chicken satay had the perfect amount of spice flavor and only complaint was that it could have been more tender. Sauces were excellent. Drunken noodles were better than expected, and could only have been improved on if there had been more noodles. Overall we had plenty of left overs due to generous portions and Pineapple Fried Rice is our new favorite.
