Gourmet Dim Sum And Cafe - San Francisc

Came across this place since good luck dim sum was closed. I'm really glad I did because I like them more! Cash only, but prices are more affordable than other places on Clement. I got the beef siu mai, char siu bao, and shrimp and chive dumplings. We inhaled the bao before I could get a picture, but it was nice and fluffy and the filling wasn't too sweet. The beef siu mai tasted really good, and the shrimp and chive wasn't overly fishy and the shrimp had a nice texture. The crystal dumpling skin was sort of on the thicker side but I didn't mind. Overall, I would definitely come back next time I'm in the neighborhood!

This is a standard dim sum take-out only restaurant. There weren't any fried donut rolls to go with the porridge so I decided to get dim sum only. I don't get how some dim sum restaurants offer porridge but not the fried donuts. Soy sauce chow mein could go well with porridge but, that was sold out. The redeeming quality is the size and taste of their pork dim sum, shrimp dim sum and turnip cake. The line might get long as there is only one person working.

I enjoy their Har Gow, Cilantro Shrimp and Scallop dumplings. Very high quality and great flavor at very reasonable pricing. Cash only!
