I ordered the non-spicy seafood combo with garlic butter and house cajun with a side of steamed rice. The food was really good, and the portions were enough to make me feel satisfied without it being too much. HOWEVER, the shrimp took forever to unshell, which I guess is to be expected. I don’t know if there was anything the restaurant could’ve done to make it easier.I think the biggest problem was that the steamy hot food were served in a plastic bag. We all know that ingesting melted plastic is bad, and I thought I could avoid that by eating inside the restaurant. However, I did not expect the seafood to STILL be served in a plastic bag. That was the one major gripe I have about this place. Please stop serving any hot foods in plastic bags!
Filthy restarting and filthy crawfish. Clean the bathroom and the crawfish before allowing guests in. Also, that's not lagunitas on tap. Either that's an expired keg, or the wrong damn beer. Place sucks.
Live in the neighborhood and always wanted to try this place! Was scared off by some of the bad reviews, but tried it last night and OMG so good! What a fun experience. Crayfish and crab were great and the servers were so Nice! Definitely going back
Me and my boyfriend were really craving seafood boils while we were staying near south SF, and did not want to drive all the way to Oakland for some crawfish. It was pretty late in the night around 8:00 pm, so not a lot of places were open. My boyfriend managed to find Cajun House on Google Maps, so we went ahead and ordered what we usually got from other boil places: 1 lb Crawfish, 1 lb Shrimp, Corn, Sausage, all in the House Cajun sauce with medium spice Garlic Noodles! The whole ordering and picking up process took about 30 minutes, and when we arrived back home only driving 10 minutes, everything was still hot. The portion of the garlic noodles were A LOT. My boyfriend is usually picky about garlic noodles and their flavor, but he really liked this one and how they seasoned it! In the boil itself, the sauce was extremely flavorful, rich, and spicy! The shrimp were honestly amazing, and the sausages as well were surprisingly good. The crawfish were unfortunately on the smaller side. Also, we had ordered 2 corn on the cobs, but they were not in our boil yet we were charged for it. A bit disappointing : But! I will say this is a good option if you're not willing to drive to Oakland to get seafood boil and want to stay in the SF Area.
