Nopa San Francisco

Really lovely evening celebrating my daughter‘s 24th birthday! We sat outside and had a little bit of everything off the menu and three specialty drinks. It was so good and service was great. Perfect night.

First of all: delicious food! Problem: noise and service. We received a table near the entrance and there was a lot of people walking along and bumping against our table which didn’t contribute to a nice atmosphere. We couldn’t have a normal conversation. Also the waiters weren’t able to communicate because of the noise. All things said, and again the food was good, it was a bad experience mainly because of acoustic problems and therefore unfortunately wouldn’t recommand the place…

I’ve been wanting to come here for 20 years. I used to live a few blocks away, and the building was a laundromat in the 1990’s and yes I had flashbacks of plugging in quarters when I entered. But Nopa will exquisitely make you feel comfortable and the waiter is so focused and kind that it felt like he was waiting for us to arrive all week. LOL. We had the pork chop and the fried chicken. They knocked it out of the park. We had so much fun dining and chatting and eating one of the best meals ever. It was great to see Nopa in its resplendent grandeur as a first rate restaurant that truly welcomes you.

Love NOPA its one of the best restaurants in SF. Staff is knowledgeable, kind, attentive and the restaurant is always buzzing even on a weekday night.
