But having since moved I didn 't visit for over a year, and today was very disappointed with my first trip back. It 's now called District 6 or something, and has basically nothing. There are only 2 food trucks and one drink truck. And one of the food trucks wasn 't even open at 1:30pm on a Friday! It 's desolate. Maybe they 're calling it District 6 because it 's straight out of a starving Hunger Games dystopia. Really sad to see what was once a popping place with a plethora of possible delights degrade into such dilapidated desert of disappointment.
Great variety of food trucks and a great ambience.I totally recommend De La Calle food truck. Great Mexican street food!
Expensive, not too much options and very far from everything. Definitely not worth it. I got there around 3 hours before they closed and already doesn 't have any food. So they sold me some type of Chefs French fries basically French fries with chicken and cheese. For $17 dollars it was unbelievable! They don 't have a visible menu so you don 't know how much it will cost until you ordered.Very bad.
FOODIE HEAVENFor those who love food trucks, this is a local gem in SOMA. Great place to watch all the games in the city, while eating a diverse selection of foods from Asian-Fusion to Carribean. It 's also near Costco for all your shopping needs. Come watch the Super Bowl with natives, locals, and tourists; it will not disappoint. There 's something for everyone. The weather is nice year-round in SF, especially during Indian Summer (Sep-Oct), but these days, it starts around mid-Winter. Be sure to bring a light jacket.Dog-friendly and kid-friendly. Somewhat difficult to find street parking at times, tent city is around the corner underneath the freeway. 'Til next time cheers see you on Yelp (SYOY)!
At a glance, the space is unremarkable. Well worn, a bit cramped, noisy. Though the fact that you have access to so many trucks, in a city that severely restricts where food trucks can operate, makes it more than worth the trip. Despite the small space there is a good amount of seating and places to eat, and the additions of the fitness classes and barbershop add dimensions of depth that can make the spot a one stop shop for multiple things.
