We were all masked and entered when they told us this isn't ten ren when the door and sign clearly said it is ten ren. Then they said they don't serve tea so we said we wanted to buy loose tea...even though we saw a few customers drinking tea inside. They still kept insisting on saying they were not ten ren and we can't enter...I dont know what we did...we just wanted to buy some loose tea....never coming back
This restaurant is my top choice for loose leaf teas. One of my favorites is the silver needle jasmine. I also purchased a teapot which was very reasonably priced. The quality of both the tea and the teapot is excellent.
I am very disappointed with the so-called premium products from Ten Ren Tea that are sold in supermarkets. They are expensive and of low quality, with many tea stalks appearing dark and lacking any tea aroma.
It's understandable lots of customers means longer waits, but when service disregards your order and doesn't even bring water after almost an hour, that's pretty laughable service/management.
Okay place to study. I've had the food which is also okay.
