Checo's - San Jose

I love Checos! I take my dog there often. They don't mind. They even give him goodies. The food is delicious. One of the best Mexican I have been to. They have truely HOT salsa! And try a mango margarita...bet you want a second.

My 3 star review is limited to fried taco de pollo and shrimp with red sauce. I will try big Mariacos platter next time for sure. (I need more friends to go with!!

Probably the best authentic Mexican restaurant I've ever been to in the US. Sad I'm from the opposite coast and not able to come every week!

Funny I’m here chillin getting lunch and it’s already been over 25 minutes for a normal burrito. Such a massive waste of a taqueria.

Wouldn't recommend anybody coming to this restaurant first of all I didn't like the way they welcomed you they welcome you with just like an uncomfortable welcome the wait time is so long for your order and when I got the food the food wasn't so great either I just had like a weird funny taste like they cook the food in the same cooking oil I don't know but I wouldn't recommend and I wouldn't come back to this place ever again
