Tea Villa is a small boba shop off to the side in downtown San Jose. Parking is street parking or in the parking garage/parking lots nearby. They are simple, but modern looking they usually have a classic movie playing on their TVs when you walk in (last time I came, it was Mulan). I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba they ran out of boba, so I substituted it with crystal boba. The milk tea tasted more like a sweet cream milk, not much tea taste to it. I ordered the drink with 50% sweetness and it was kind of on the sweeter side with a syrupy aftertaste. To be honest, the white boba kind of throws off the taste of the milk tea.
A small bubble tea place with great value. They only have a single size, large, and it is cheaper than all the other bubble tea places downtown. The menu is massive and it can be difficult to choose what to get.
Got the hot jasmine tea with boba and it was so good. Lots of boba and hot hot tea that was just perfect. It was strong but not bitter and was easily able to sip on the tea and bubbles. Really enjoyed the fact could get without milk. Would recommend over Boba guys!
Saucy French Fries... really? Ain't no way, I Uber eat this place and the description said bacon bits, garlic, nori flakes, mayonnaise, and unagi sauce. I would like to know where half of my topping went. I also got Cajun popcorn chicken and it is bland. Never again : it made my pockets hurt and tastebuds sad.
