7-eleven - San Leandro

They do a good job keeping this place clean and more or less safe for the area. I do feel like swishers may be their highest selling item but it's a safe local quick spot. I like the staff there a lot!

In few places I have come across such friendly staff. Some really nice and polite guys!!

This review is based on multiple visits to this specific 7-11 over the span of... about 10 years or so, particularly between the late-night/early-morning hours of about 10pm-6am. The only reason why I'm giving this place a 2/5 and not a 1/5 is because the night-shift guy is nice, and they're open 24/7. Outside of that, this place may as well be a homeless shelter at night. When I say this place may as well be a homeless shelter at night, please do not think I am exaggerating. Over the past 10 years, I've seen homeless people sleeping under the nacho cheese machine, loitering inside the store, begging for money outside the store, stocking their shelves, sitting behind the register, hell, I've even seen them set up tents inside the store, where the slurpee machine is. I remember about 10 years ago, I used to come here every day for coffee on my way to school, and one day as I was using the little cups of french vanilla, they were curdled, which isn't a big deal. I just poured the coffee out, and grabbed another cup, and inspected the creamer cups a little more. As I sifted through the creamer cups (that at the time were in a single big-bowl) I immediately left the coffee, and left the store, due to what I found in the bowl. At the bottom of the bowl, there were maggots, not dead maggots, either. These maggots were crawling all over the creamer cups.

Employee was outside taking a personal phone call, and when I asked where I can lock my bike up. He waves his hand at the store and shakes his head as tho the store was closed when in fact the hours state open 24 hrs

Just left from there..I go there every day and they are racist ,rude and lazy acting like they can never swipe my cards..they always follow me around the store even tho I come and spend money there everyday..this store needs new employees
