Flippin' Pizza - San Marcos

Best New York style pizza, our very favorite is the Basil Garlic Tomato. Crispy crust is absolutely perfect. We lived nearby for 10 years and ate there very often. Now we live in LA but I travel here twice a year and load up several pies to bring home to enjoy (freeze very well). Went to Manhattan last year for the first time, couldn't find pizza this good. We are truly spoiled. Service is always fast and friendly as well.

This place has really gone down hill I used to love this place But now the place is always empty I'm guessing it's going to go out of business soon The tables are always messy The pizza slices are always over cooked. Biting into a slice is like a rock They put as little cheese as possible on the pizza And the furniture is in major disrepair

Oh hell no! We came in early (on a Friday) to beat the crowd. We ordered a pizza and were told it would be 20-25 minutes. A HOUR later we finally got our pie. Was it worth the wait at least? Not really, it was just pizza. The crust was very thin and flabby, and there wasn't enough cheese to properly cover the pizza. The likelihood of myself and the family returning to Flippin are slim to none. My search for awesome pizza continues.

This place was really nice but currently it has been changed. I ordered pizza and went to pick it up but when I arrived, I have seen clerks played jokes while they were doing the cooking. Of course as my concerned, they made creative work. I want to applaud them for this working. I'd like to appreciate them for letting me the wonderful taste of coal. Thank you again. Ill definitely never go there again.

Fun music, fun atmosphere, and really good tasting slices of thin crust pizza. Everything here screams a stereotypical franchise chain including the cheesy phrase wallpaper. But what does feel real and authentic is the food. I love the salty taste of their thin crust here! Service was good but many of the tables were full of crumbs. Not too much effort for me to sweep off my table, just something to think about seeing there were plenty of workers around. Overall this is a very good value and 100% family friendly.
