New Moon - San Marino

New moon restaurant is a new discovery for me. Nestled in the quiet scenic area of San Marino, this place is pretty good in terms of flavor and the options in the menu. My go to is the steamed fish... it has been pretty consistent with flavor and portions. It's a fairly small place to eat inside, but being in a quiet neighborhood i prefer to eat outside in their patio area. The service however is the only thing that needs improvement... staff there were not very pleasant/welcoming. I would recommend this place to others for the food quality and freshness but I wouldn't recommend this place for their service. Hopefully they will work on it.

First and last time I'll be visiting here. When we got here there was only one occupied table. Meaning it's not busy. Ordered the food. Some came out but our noodles never did and the food that was already out got cold waiting for the noodles to arrive. Asked waitress about status of noodles and she said they forgot to make them. We decided not to have them since everything else got cold. They have the audacity to charge for the food that we didn't even get to eat. Excellent restaurant many times when I'm in Pasadena I will make the drive to New moon! They now serve wine, and I like to pick up from there it's very small but mighty they're Chinese chicken salad and their fried rice are delicious everything they make is great I would recommend this place highly
