Contribuisci feedbackProbably the worst Indian food in the Bay Area. We ordered Biriyani and Kotthu Parotta, received rotten side dishes and the Biriyani had semi cooked meat on it. This restaurant doesn't deserve even a single start for the food. I give one start for the person who later acknowledged when we called and reported, and he even said he is willing to replace the dishes, but we didn't had energy to drive 10 miles back.
Mutton biryani has BIG bones and no meat. Ordered several times, gave feedback and same result. Giving two stars since my dog loved the bones and all of it didn't go waste. Price on the high side. Their spice mix was very tasty though. On my last order, they suggested getting boneless mutton biryani and I ordered two of them. Was surprised to find out it was all bones when I got home. Hence writing this review.
I am a Biriyani lover and my whole family loves biriyani. We moved from Fremont and hence were exploring all the different biriyani places in the tri valley. We love Dindigal Thalapakatti Biriyani and hence wanted to try Kupanna as it had a similar kind of biriyani.. It was a sunday and i ordered by phone. When i went to pickup, i found the restaurant to be a pretty small with 2 tables.. But i thought its always the taste that matters more than the size of the restaurant. The items i ordered were Kuppanna Special chicken Biriyani (seeraga samba rice), Vijayawada boneless chicken biriyani and chicken 65. Chicken 65 Very good Kuppana Chicken Biriyani bad Viyayawada Chicken Biriyani average (spicy and wasn't a true biriyani) The chicken 65 was very good, the meat was fresh and we loved it.. However, the Kupanna spl biriyani was below average, the rice was overcooked and taste was ok. The chicken in the biriyani wasn't fresh and we could notice it right after the first bite.. It looked like a stale/reheated biryani as we found some parts of the rice crispy.. The vijayawada Biriyani had tasty boneless chicken pieces but thats the only good part, the rice was just basmati rice mixed with bunch of hot spices and there wasn't much to it..The taste wasn't that great.. Was expecting a lot from this restaurant but was a little disappointed as the biriyani did not meet expectations..
Worst Briyani ever I have tried, thought to try this new restaurant as supposedly new Indian places are good for atleast 1st few months, but this place completely subdued it.the chicken Biriyani was stale and certainly cooked atleast a few days before.no tastes no salt yellow rice with biriyani label.
Mediocre taste . Not spicy . Hyderabad chicken biryani is not the authentic Hyderabadi style . the chicken pieces tasted stale ; looks like cooked a day ago and reheated . On a whole a subpar experience .
