D Brew House - San Saba

I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon this restaurant. The server was incredibly kind, although I regret not getting her name to commend her. I tried a glass of Texas wine which was fantastic. The steak finger basket was a delightful dish, featuring chicken fried steak strips with fries and gravy. The combo sandwich, despite sounding like a club sandwich, was actually a hot grilled sandwich loaded with ham, turkey, and bacon - simply delicious! If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. Additionally, they have a motel located behind the restaurant and offer a selection of craft beers as well.

During our Thanksgiving trip to Midland, we decided to check out a restaurant recommended on Yelp. And boy, were we glad we did! I enjoyed an ice cold Miller Lite while my husband and son tried a beer flight, all of which they loved. The family-run establishment was truly a delight, with the owner's daughter serving us with a cheerful attitude and a beautiful smile. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious. The charming and rustic ambiance added to the overall wonderful dining experience.

I almost didn't stop by this restaurant, but my curiosity got the best of me and I decided to take a look inside. To my surprise, they had lettuce wraps on the menu, which I wouldn't have expected in this town. The wraps were light and flavorful, with large, plentiful lettuce leaves that made it easy to wrap up the ingredients. The tables were clean and simple.

Great place for a very casual meal that will make your tastebuds happy. Specials change regularly and fish on Friday's is always delicious. No frills, but consistently tasty with friendly service and good prices.

Okay, but overall disappointing. Prices seem a little high for what you get. Greasiest chips I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot), ate a few. Salsa was good. The grilled chicken and green salsa on the chicken tacos was good, not a whole lot there. Server was efficient, not overly friendly, but brought us everything we needed. Hamburgers okay. Everything just okay. I think there are better options in the area.
