I thought the hostess was telling me they were closed 15m into being open. Waiter was nice even though I was rather pissed off and ready to pass out. Portofino was good, I'd order it again if I'm ever back here. My mom had the seafood salad and the dressing they put tasted pretty much like pure lemon juice. My father had some salmon fettuccine dish which he enjoyed and said the sauce tasted good. Sounds like my father would go back once in a while but my mom will likely tell my dad to go by himself. I live in San Diego and wouldn't make the drive back here just for this place.
Had a nice meal at the bar. Service was excellent and menu is fabulous
So, so good. The atmosphere, food, service, and desserts. Easy parking.
Good apps and drinks in an Italian atmosphere. The octopus was amazing! The pizza...has issues. I ordered a salsiccia and while the flavors were good, the dough had some serious problems. It looked good and charred on top, but the bottom was the consistency of wet paper. It wasn't until I took out the leftovers the next day I realized the bottom was actually raw. Too many toppings as well, and the weight and moisture from the toppings made it impossible to pick up a piece without it falling apart. Oven maybe needs recalibrated or something.
I'm the artist in Jane Hamilton's gallery next door to the restaurant they have some of the best food in the plaza their
