Not open for holidays sadly as Russian workers are staying there for at least the rest of the year.

I have stayed at this hotel annually for several years, the staff are always lovely, but the quality has gone downhill steadily over the years and this year the food was indescribably bad, I understand the hotel is closing for a period of a time, I can only think they were clearing out the cupboards and using up what they had left. This was unacceptable, we had paid and deserved a reasonable meal, the portions were not enough to feed a child let alone some of the people in our partly. The ran out of basics like milk for the rooms, and white sugar. All in all a sad end to what has always been a lovely visit.

The room was a little bit dated but warm and comfy. It was also very clean. Nice bath with great temperature water. 24hr bar downstairs aswell which is a plus, nice Geordie lad behind the bar. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5
