Little Onion Mexican - Santa Ana

It is cinco de mayo! looking for a good Mexican authentic place? that's the place, the first time and I'm really impressed. taco bell has nothing about little onions version of the mexican pizza. carnitas on mine. hubby chose a fajitas plate-dinner plate and let me say for the price it was appropriate. love the ambiente. on the outside spacious on the inside with its double deck seat area. super impressed by her leather-covered menu. I loved it!

Great little neighbour. large bar, restaurant with a loft and terrace. eating was fantastic and service with smiles and warm hearts. it's very happy to go back soon.

The red enchilada sauce is perfect. Enchilada were packed full. Red don't taste good but the normal one are great. Salsa is ok

Just mediocre. I love good Mexican food but this was just ok. Prices were pretty high for the quality of food. Service just ehhh. I was really looking forward to a Purple Haze after seeing them on the photos but they no longer make them. They were also out of Mango Margarita's which would have been my second choice so I just stuck with a Pacifico $7) I ordered a 2 item combo plate and so did my friend. I chose the shredded beef crispy taco and chile rellano, she ordered the chile rellano with shredded beef enchilada. My taco was a bit too burnt, beans and rice were not hot, chile rellano was just average. She loved her shredded beef enchilada. Waitress was slow bringing water and refill of chips and salsa. Salsa was ok, chips were warm and just ok. I have had better food for less expense. Seems quite overpriced for what you get but it was located close to the Segerstrom Center so we tried. Probably won't be back.

A step over most Mexican restaurants. service and eating are top notch. atmosphere is cozy and charming. the mol sauce on the enchilada was excellent. meat and vegetables are high quality and fresh. everything is loaded with taste and presented stylishly. also the chips and salsa are excellent.
