Meritage Kitchen - Santa Ana

We ate here after a long travel day. Our server was very attentive and kind. I don't know if I have ever had a server that was as attentive as he was. We really appreciated that. This restaurant is inside of the Doubletree hotel. They have happy hour specials. We were starving so we ordered chicken sandwiches, these sandwiches had some sort of aioli sauce on them. They were very flavorful. I scarfed down my food before taking a picture so my apologies but it was good.

Had a quick dinner while staying at the hotel for business. Ordered the Caesar Salad with Salmon which was good. Service was great especially considering there appeared to be only 2 people covering both the bar the dining area. Very attentive even when it got crowded.

There was too much sauce in the soba noodles, we went to go down to ask for another dish with less sauce. the bartender of meritage gave me attitude and said, you pretty much ate all of it and chuckled??? just because i ate the tofu doesn 't mean i ate all of it, that was the only edible thing. what was left was pretty much like the picture, don 't go here!! the way i was treated was unnecessary

This is a great restaurant to go to especially if you are staying at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel. Anita was our server and she was wonderful. They have a lot of drink and food options. I ordered a Riesling to drink and a Caesar salad with salmon. It was really good and the portion was great. Perfect to share too. The salmon was perfectly made and very flavorful. The salad was fresh and tasty too. Bar and regular seating available. This place looks a little fancy but has a little sports bar vibe which is fun. There's also a 20% off coupon code you can apply to food orders if you check in on Yelp! Note they have different hours during the week and weekends.

I had to visit Orange County for business and was having a rather tough trip due to some employee issues back at my company. To lift my spirits, I decided to check out the restaurant and bar in the hotel where I was staying. The bartender, Anita, was fantastic. She was both professional and friendly, and she paid great attention to all her customers. I will definitely return!
