Reliably yummy. Lovely outside dining space. One of the oldest running restaurants in Pleasure Point for a reason.

This restaurant is fantastic! To start with, the food is delicious! Breakfast doesn’t have to be complicated; it should be quick, simple, and tasty, and that’s exactly what this place delivers. They only accept cash, which keeps the prices very reasonable. The location right on the beach is a wonderful bonus. The outdoor dining area is lovely, and I personally enjoy eating in their renovated van. This spot feels like one of the last remaining gems of the nostalgic dining experience, as evidenced by the photos and decor inside and out. If you're looking for a trip down memory lane, look no further than Paula's!

The best place to get a basic breakfast with the bank breaking out. $3,50 for cookies and Gravy. $5 for the basic breakfast. they have loved a swing outside my daughter while we have waited very short. The old hippie van in front is open to eating also what we have exploited.

I really enjoy this restaurant. I appreciate the affordable prices, the cash-only policy, the no-nonsense vibe, and the lack of pretense. Although I'm not from Santa Cruz, I find myself returning to this spot because the city can feel somewhat artificial from an outsider's perspective. Ordering a $5 breakfast sandwich from an experienced local in a small, surf-themed kitchen feels very authentic and grounding in today's world.

Great all American breakfast options. Space is small, so for large groups you may need to wait.
