Kancha Champagne Tapas - Santa Rosa

This was our second visit to kancha and it remains a good price excellent eating. we made the new year tasting menu with the wine pairing. every cure was well prepared and presented, and above all tasted great. the wine selection paired well with each cursor. the environment is very comfortable and relaxing, and the service was great.

We are looking forward to going again and try more about the menu. fantastic mac n cheese and golden pea salad. friendly service and great wine ideas.

We would recommend this restaurant for special occasions or a date night. everything we ordered was top-notch. difficult to choose a favorite. the food was spiced and beautifully presented and weeping flights were fun and delicious! will definitely return. service was excellent and we were wonderfully well maintained!

Great food and fun place that is still working out the “kinks”. Really nice but inexperienced, overworked servers and understaffed. Our food literally came out one plate at a time so it took over two hours but we didn’t mind as we were relaxing and enjoying the evening. We would go back.

The food at Kancha was outstanding. Delicious, innovative, creative, aesthetically pleasing dishes. Our table enjoyed the tuna tartar, classic ceviche, mushroom causas, mac and cheese with crab, scallops, and the macha cheesecake with miso caramel. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully spiced. We also ordered champagne flights which unfortunately arrived long after most of our dishes had been served. The server apologized as they had run out of glasses and she was washing them in the back. The owner eventually came out and generously poured our flights, but the lengthy delay left our beautiful dishes cold. The noise level was high with the long narrow room and tin ceilings. Suggest they consider playing some culturally appropriate Peruvian music rather than the techno pop that was thumping in the background above the din. The owner and server were well aware of the timing issues and were apologetic, and appropriately comped a few items. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will recommend Kancha and hope to return soon for a smoother and more aptly timed dining experience. The exquisite food surely deserves another chance.
