I had the pickerel. It was like having fresh pickerel fresh out of the Churhill River when we go canoeing, it was perfect, and a very large portion. My wife had the steak, you could almost cut it with a butter knife. The portions were large, the baked potatoes were huge and the prices are reasonable. We were thoroughly impressed way to go Cave. We will return!
I'll be honest as long as this restaurant has been around, I've only started going here in the last couple weeks. And all because a friend invited me along. I've been so Impressed so far!George is always around and is a great host. So welcoming and provides great service. Drinks come fast, food tastes like it should (I've only really had deep fried so far).I'll definitely keep coming back and seeing what else they have to offer!
Themed restaurant. Like in a modern cave.Nice interior and delicious food too.Entertaining for all ages.
The staff are great. The facility and food are so dated. I hope when there is new ownership that the place and menu get a good scrub and update. We had French onion soup, spaghetti and meatballs (2 meatballs) ribs, souvlaki, none of which was particularly good. We make way better at home. The best item we ordered were the dry ribs, which are pretty hard to screw up.I ordered the meatball lasagne. The sauce was way too sweet. They must put so much sugar in it; it was like ketchup. I couldn’t eat it. Just ate the meatballs and the cheese. The portions are huge, which is probably why some people like it. There is table bread and most dishes come with garlic bread too.The best thing about the restaurant is that due to the architecture and acoustics, it is actually pretty quiet and you can hear each other talk without using loud voices.
Great atmospheric experience, but would not expect the food to match the price tag.We basically ordered 4 appetizers and the entire entre plus a pasta. All meat based meals were overcooked and tough. (Caveat, I like my meat medium-rare) Otherwise, sauce was salty but decent tasting. Dinner Rolls were store bought run of mill bread.Experience was enjoyable, but I would not visit the place for food. The price target reflects just that. Not expensive, but pricey for the food quality.
