The staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. An exciting selection of treats and drinks.
Part yarn handcraft supply storage. Part small café. Part “run and take a coffee to go” type of space. Excellent coffee. Great server. And with the only selection of high-quality yarns, needles and other handicrafts in the city, you are always guaranteed to float into a...threatening amazing craftsmen with stories. Sometimes the tables are sticky. Sometimes the stock is scary. And the soil is almost always in the need of a sweep. But you find the cookiest group of really nice people.
One of my favorite parts to visit my parents is the chance to go to Shabby Motley. I love the atmosphere: relaxed, creative, friendly and LGBT friendly. The coffee is very good, the food is excellent (better than you could expect...for a knit café haha), and the staff is great. I look forward to continuing my visits to the cozy couches either with friends or with a solo sewing.
We were scheduled to take the Agawa Canyon Tour Train the next morning and needed to find a place to get takeout lunch since we wouldn't have time to pick anything up in the morning. Luckily, the Airport location was still open when we arrived and they made us some fantastic sandwiches to order, including a vegan option for me. They also had baked goods for others in our group who are not vegan. It was a lifesaver for us.
