La Montee du Fort - Saumur

The restaurant is situated on a move square, somewhat touristy, but quite nice. Once we had sat down, it took the staff 10 minutes to bother with the menu and then they weren't exactly in a rush once they'd met that milestone. To us, they seemed incredibly miserable with the attitude of 'we don't want to be here'. The only nice but very quiet lady took our order and (other than the bottle of water) got all 3 crepes and drinks wrong.I'm not claiming my French GCSE has made me fluent but that was a tad pathetic. Mr boss wasn't pleased when it turned out that the crepes were wrong and he had to make another one; he became very short with usIt was quite expensive and when compared to the cheap Street-side crepe, I know which one I'd choose

Nous y sommes aller sans réserver et malgré le monde qui y était présent nous avons été reçu de façon très agréable et fort sympathique le service a été assez rapide compte tenu de l affluence et les plats d une qualité plus que correcte le fait maison était bien présent sans aucun doute et un personnel très attentif a nos besoins !!!

Une crêperie tout ce qu'il y a de plus classique, dont le principal intérêt est son emplacement en plein centre de Saumur. Plats simples, sans surprise hormis peut-être la crèpe à l'andouille (à découvrir), pas mauvais mais qui ne méritent pas d'extase. Desserts banals (crêpes ou glaces) et service anonyme, souriant mais un peu absent. Comme le prix reste serré, on va dire que ça passe pour un repas vite fait.

Great food and service on a weekday sitting outside this ancient building was had in August 2015. However, we have been back twice on weekdays, in Sept 2016 and June 2017 and both times this place has been closed so you need to check before deciding on this locale. Can be thoroughly recommended if open though !!!

Belle place qui compte pas mal de resto Dans celui ci on y mange plutot bien , bien que pas crêperie de l année ! Comme beaucoup de com'Le service est tendu et pas très agréable Défaut qui va peut être causer du tord à long terme
