Everything is clearly freshly prepared and done so by someone who knows how to cook Southern-style. My catfish was so perfectly prepared: light cornbread coating outside, cooked just to doneness--not hard or greasy--and of course perfectly seasoned. A meal at Sarah Jane's will run you in the neighborhood of $10.
Only one cashier and she had an attitude with us the whole time. It took over 10 minutes and they weren’t offering half the stuff on their menu. I ordered a burger and it tasted like dollar store frozen patties. The mashed potatoes were presented well but once I took a bite they tasted like instant potatoes. It was like pulling teeth to get my drink and the quality of the food made me feel queasy. Would not recommend to anyone I know. Do not waste your time or money here.
It took us 15 minutes to get our burger! I came there for chicken fingers and French fries and they said they were out of every chicken item and fries! Thats over half your menu! We asked the lady if we can have a drink and she said yes and walked away and didn’t bring us a drink. When we got our food it was poor quality and i guess they ran out of American cheese because they just melted a little bit of shredded cheese on mine. Do NOT recommend.
I had not been to the mall in a while and stumbled across Sarah Jane's Kitchen. I had ixtails, rice and Mac and cheese. It was delicious. It was just enough. Great to success to you.
I had lunch here because it was easy to find vegetarian options. The staff was very friendly, and the food was very good. The black-eyed peas and cornbread were to die for!
