The Grove Savannah

I had treated my boyfriend to his birthday dinner we had a blast. He enjoyed all appetizers and entrées.

Kendall was great and provided excellent recommendations and service.

Outstanding food and service. Great ambience. Enjoyed the poached pear salad and clams linguine.

Atmosphere was very nice. Staff was very friendly. Food was mediocre and not really worth the money.

Several months ago we visited Garibaldi for the first time while visiting Savannah and had a great meal. We recently moved to Savannah and decided to bring our friends to Garibaldi for their 30th anniversary. Friday Sept 1st we were seated downstairs in a booth for dinner and were served by a young woman with eyeglasses named Susan. Unfortunately Susan was extremely unattentive, disappearing for long stretches of time. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks which we saw sitting on the bar getting warm waiting for Susan to serve them. Our finished entrees sat in front of us for about 20 min before being cleared. We waited another 20 min to order dessert before giving up and asking the maitre d' to get us the check. I had to remind Susan to go to the kitchen to get a leftover. She begrudgingly took a group photo of us after being asked a second time the first time she rudely told us she was too busy and to wait. While the food was good, given the terrible service we probably won't be back.
