This place is super casual, so do not expect the attention to detail that should go so well with food. It's worth trying. It's a local hunt with half the kitsty Savannah ambiance, but don't let that be deterred.
I ordered the phone to run. The lady answered, the phone was very patient and helpful. When I came to the restaurant, I discovered that there was a car thru window! So comfortable as I'm on my way with two little dogs. Staff are so friendly, helpful and dog lovers! They gave my little dogs a huge milkbone. That was nice. I ordered the Greek salad with gyro-meat, and a shrimp and lobster Carbonara. The gypo Greek salad is quite good, and the gyro meat was also quite good. The shrimp and lobster Carbonara were ok and expensive. At the first bite the bacon tasted gamy and didn't taste like bacon. I have Carbonara before, and that was more like shrimp, lobster and bacon in creamy white sauce, similar to Alfredo sauce. I don't recommend this court. I probably come back to the Greek salad and try something else. The service is excellent, and it is encouraging that I go back and try another dish.
Wonderful experience! Great food... big portions, very full. Had the fries, couldn't eat anything, it was the best! Great variety in the menu, hard to choose, just one. Very recommended!
Restaurant Weekly specialties were very good. She had the bang shrimp, and mine was the tuna tar. Both were very good. She had the scallops over Risotto. Very tasty and good presentation. Mine was the salmon on potatoes. Both were very good and filled. The desserts were a mango cheesecake and cream bruille. Service was good. Noise level pretty high. We're going back.
You place your order when you walk in, they bring your food to you, and you clear your own table. They allowed me to order the stuffed chicken from the dinner menu at lunchtime, since I needed gluten free food. It was amazing! The green beans at the top of my portion were really good, but as I got to the lower ones, the garlic was overpowering. I was already pretty full, so I just stopped eating them. After an Altoids, brushing my teeth, and gargling with Listerine, the garlic was still there. Matt's Philly cheesesteak was huge, and he said it was delicious, but he wanted A1 to add to it, and they don't carry it or toothpicks. Their menu looks awesome, but there wasn't a lot I could eat, given my food allergies. I definitely recommend them, but ask for light garlic on your green beans. ;
