However, I was disappointed by the extremely poor quality of the processed food, which unfortunately is not uncommon in many cafes and tea shops. I ordered a very small slice of cake and an eclair with a small dollop of ice cream, along with a cup of tea and a mug of coffee, and the total cost came to £12.70. Despite the mediocre food, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and I appreciated that they allow dogs on the premises. I would suggest that the restaurant improve the quality of their food and presentation. Additionally, leaving a used cigarette ashtray on the table is not a sign of professional service.
This charming hidden bar and bistro is tucked away in the quaint streets of Whitby. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is delicious and beautifully presented. I will definitely be coming back.
We called in to be greeted by the new owner who was very pleasant and took the time to make us feel very welcome. The coffee and cake was delicious and it was great value. I can recommend a visit.
This is a lovely little place just off flowergate by poundland if you did not know it was there you might even miss it so make sure you look for it as it worth it
We popped into this little café for a coffee after a 5 hour car journey to Whitby from Cardiff and could not believe that the lady who served us used to live in the same area as my husband who is from Cardiff we had a lovely chat and enjoyed a nice coffee as well tucked out of the away from the hustle and bustle of the main street this is a little gem
