Charleys Cheesesteaks - Schaumburg

I do not know why I am only writing this review now, even though I know for a fact that I went to this spot a couple of months ago. It's definitely long overdue, but I can't help but share my wonderful experience from this location. I was in the Woodfield Mall, and I was famished, so I decided to grab a bite. They have many different and good spots, but my feet brought me to this spot. This spot was not as busy as the others, so I chose it, and besides, cheesesteaks sounded good to me. The first thing I looked at was their menu, with a couple of choices of cheesesteaks, some sides, and a few drinks. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and their lemonade. The service was very friendly, and it was also quick. The Philly cheesesteaks have a nice serving, somehow generous, and it tastes really good. It was fresh and hot when I ate it, and all I can say is that it tastes good. The cheesesteak alone seriously made me full and very satisfied. I was a little curious about their lemonade because I think it was my first time trying their lemonade and it actually tastes delicious and is definitely refreshing. I would love to stop in here again for a quick bite whenever I go to this mall.

It took nearly 30 minutes to serve a party of about 10, while around 15 others were asked to leave because the mall had closed.

The food is fantastic, especially if you order a cheesesteak sandwich. However, the prices are quite high, which is why I deducted a star from my rating.

Quite average overall. In my hungover state, I made the mistake of ordering a huge baked steak sandwich, but what I received was a thick, congealed mass of steak and cheese that was hard to enjoy. On a positive note, the service was swift, even amidst the lunch rush, and the staff were friendly with condiments easily available. In the end, I can only blame myself for my disappointment.
