Mangino's Gourmet Market - Schenectady

As always, I wait until I had some experiences with a new place before I post a review. I've eaten twice here in the last few days and I've been very impressed. I started with tomatoes Pesto grilled cheese on a fast afternoon takeout run. The decor is beautiful and different from everything else in the immediate surroundings. The sandwich was fresh and clean, a point emphasised by the staff. After I enjoyed the sandwich, I decided to try something more ambitious for dinner after work. I ordered the Bolognese over Ziti, and again the simple, clean ingredients were out. You can always say the difference when quality ingredients are used, and they are certainly here. The place will still go and, as I understand, will continue to add to its menu as well as all the proper takeout treats they also offer. Overall very impressed and a place worth checking.

When I say Delicious I mean Delicious the service is Amazing the food I am in absolute heaven, make this too restful to visit outdoor terraces, so beautiful the capacity is amazing, make this family restorer a piece of you, and we will often come here.

Eat spectacular, ambience amazing and 5 star service. Rick and Bonnie are an amazing duo that surpasses food and service expectations!

A wonderful restaurant. The staff was friendly, attentive and welcoming. Food was amazing. Soups were delicious, pasta dishes were very tasty and generous portions. Desserts were fresh and satisfying. Atmosphere is picturesque and interesting to look at all details, both old and new. Loved the music in the background to play weakly. I can't wait to go back.

We visited Mangino's Gourmet Market for lunch. We were very happy that we did. The building restoration and interior decor is wonderful. The tile and woodwork added to the comfortable atmosphere. The owners, Chef Rick and Bonnie are wonderful. They explained the family history and ingredients used in the dishes we ordered. We plan to go back many more times. I can’t wait to try the pizza.
