We all had something different but everything was good. I had the iced schokolade drink and it was fantastic. The cakes looks amazing. Service was good. The cafe and washrooms were very clean
We called in here originally just for coffee and the place look and smelt so nice we stayed for breaky, didn't have English menu but lady behind counter was very helpful, what did we want, scrambled eggs, would you like ham or bacon with that? We had that with some fresh rye bread and a couple of nice fresh warm rolls. Great start to the day
Visited this little gem on our first day in Schliersee and they were do great. Helped to translate the menu had a great coffee and the apple cake n is to die for. Liked it so much visited 3 more times. Would recommend.
We walked into this café on our first day in Schliersee. It was Mother's Day, the café was full and everyone turned to stare at us. We were warmly welcomed by a very friendly waitress who spoke very good English. We had a delicious cup of coffee and said we would be back. Day 5 of our stay and it's a religious holiday, not much open but we thankfully find ourselves back here for Father's Day. Dads get lunch for free and there was a fabulous Bavarian quartet playing. Food was simple, well priced and delicious, particularly the cakes. The waitress remembered us and eve sat down with me to explain the German menu into English or me. Fabulous!!!
Pleasant staff, nice location & good menu. Friendly people also having breakfast or a coffee. The cafe has a history as to how it got its name & relates to the fresco on the wall. I'd return here.
