Coffee Plantation - Scottsdale

We stopped here yesterday before we went to the movie at Harkins theater around the corner and were very unhappy with the situation almost all the tables were taken by people who looked like they were camping out and playing games and not ordering much from the restaurant.We looked for a place to sit, and most of the other overstuffed chairs were so beat up and dirty we didn’t even want to sit on them I know I don’t want to go back until something changesWe used to come to this place and sit and work on our writing for a couple hours but we always ordered food and drinks. I do not loiter like we were seeing yesterdayI don’t know if it’s a different owner since the pandemic but we haven’t been there in quite a few years. We live in old town and go to other places too, but were saddened to see the state of the place.It needs new furniture which wouldn’t be expensive painting cleanup, and some kind of a policy that people playing games can’t take over the place.I was sorry to see this happening and even sorrier for the owner who probably doesn’t know what to do with these people.Again, on the furniture it could be replaced through a consignment store most of the furniture there should be thrown in the trash!

It's a great cafe to sit and read or study, the atmosphere is super. The food options are limited, to none. Understaffed. Now they are closing at 8 pm every day. That makes no sense for a cafe. If they want to increase profitability, they should try keeping better snacks, rather than just a few stale pastries. Other than bananas there is nothing to order. Sandwiches and hot food orders are sub par.

Delicious latte, haven’t had one this good in a while. Baristas are very friendly. It was so busy, but because there is so much space to sit, it didn’t feel like that. Great study space. Also love the decor inside with the plantation vibe
