A busy place always means they have good food! It was packed and it was worth the wait.Cons: They use canola oil, which is very unhealthy for you, so you can request olive oil for certain dishes, if you wish. The music is very loud, and it makes it very hard to talk.We are not from Arizona but since we moved here, we noticed that a lot of restaurants have extremely loud music indoors even during breakfast, which makes no sense to me at all. As a previous restaurant owner, I would bring it down a couple of notches to where it’s still fun, but people can still talk, it’s just common sense.Restaurants that have loud music want you to get out of there soon since they’re so busy and they want to be able to get other people in quickly who are waiting for tables but it makes it uncomfortable. This is pretty much the only reason why I don’t come more often and I also don’t go to Hash kitchen at all, the music is way too loud. The location in Vancouver, the music was half the volume so we used to go all the time over there.Otherwise, delicious delicious delicious!
Waited long enough for someone to great and seat us that I started wondering if it was seat yourself. The waitress was prompt on getting the order but she wasn't the one to drop it off and she never stopped by to check on us at any point. My food was burned so they replaced it. I had an empty cup of coffee for over 10 minutes without anybody stoping to see if it needed to be refilled. I had to go to the cooking staff to find someone so they could have a manager stop by our table. Only when our waitress saw that the manager was on his way did she come over to see if everything was ok.But what really bothered me is that she bussed the table beside and behind me but couldn't trouble herself to see if everything was alright until the manager stopped by.We told the manager about the situation and he was very accommodating even going so far as to comp the meal. We were very appreciative of this gesture but it is unlikely that we will return for a second visit. There is only one chance to make a first impression.
Simply put, the best breakfast in all of Scottsdale. I’ve traveled all over the world, dined at Michelin star restaurants yet I am still dreaming of the those duck fat fried potatoes! Ryan our server, was super personable and accommodating. He recommended the poutines and the pierogis and duck – both were phenomenal. The soul in a bowl poutine had crispy duck fat fried potatoes, thick bacon lardons, cheese curds, fresh eggs and brown butter hollandaise. The pierogis and duck were unmatched – soft pierogis, bacon lardons, tender duck, raspberry vinaigrette and two sunny side up eggs. We also ordered the French toast trifle and this was absolutely delicious! Not only did it have so much flavor but it was beautifully plated.General manager Dre, came over and introduced himself to us which helped solidify a great experience. It’s nice to hear someone talk so passionately about their staff and the quality of food. Thank you Dre for a WONDERFUL brunch. The restaurant itself is very clean and inviting. I love the vibrant colors! All in all, do yourself a favor and try this restaurant. How wonderful it was to have an elevated breakfast experience instead of the usual pancakes, bacon and eggs. I will be adding this restaurant to my weekly rotation. Try the pierogis and duck!!
Ryan was our server He immediately greeted us once we were sat at our table, we went on Saturday at 10 am and there was no wait. He was knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions about the flavors of the meals, the popular items and what we could add (proteins, microgreens, etc. we decided on the shishito peppers (perfect!, not enough to share, but we tried, I would suggest everyone adding a side and the dipping sauce was unique in that I had never had it before with Shishitos and chiliquiles (savory, tasty and sapid! . The food arrived very fast, within 15 minutes. The Chiliquiles is big enough to share, for sure, but we did not and I had enough for lunch that day. I wish I would have added chicken because my friend that did said it was so clean and added a richness to her meal.Alana was another stand out star she made extra room for our food and checked on us several times, filling up our drinks and helping Ryan provide attentive, quality service. The staff, even those we did not interact with, all had helpful friendly smiles, the environment was peaceful and we could hear each other talk.I want to try all the benedicts! Looking forward to returning soon!
Well….I’l just get right into it….-Dirty Coffee Cups on the Table.-Never once were we asked for a Coffee Refill.-Food was average at best…Micro Greens do not go with Breakfast…just let the food speak for itself…You all are trying to be too fancy…just serve good food.-Sausage was Cold.-Manager-Owner outside sitting on Motorcycle and not tending to restaurant operations.-Server Manager-Owner Chef all sitting on the Breakfast Counter, while no one was attending to our table.-Manager-Owner walking around restaurant with hands in his pockets…-I don’t mind at all paying good money, as long as I receive good service and quality food. $68 for breakfast for two… Just not worth it.Please know I say these things as I would like to see you improve…and also please know that these are not just observations from a Lay Person, but from someone who has been in the hospitality field for 40+ years…Look me up on LinkedIn….Mark GallaudetI hope you take this review seriously and adjust as necessary.
