Always a beer on tap that I like and the food is out of this world. I think out of their entire menu (and I think I've tried everything) was only one dish that I disliked, and I'll admit it was probably a matter of personal taste. Can't recommend this awesome little hole in the wall enough.
Fantastic Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices, and it’s usually not very crowded.
Chungee's is undoubtedly the top neighborhood Chinese restaurant in Seattle. Their constantly changing selection of thoughtfully chosen drinks complements their fresh, made-to-order authentic Chinese dishes and classic Chinese American favorites perfectly. The flavors are both clean and complex, the portions are generous, and the specials are outstanding, all accompanied by friendly service. Be sure to visit this hidden gem, which offers a range of indoor and outdoor seating options in a cozy, albeit slightly makeshift, atmosphere.
I really enjoy Chungee's. While it might not be the best Chinese food I've ever had, it offers fantastic comfort food. The staff is wonderful, and the low ceiling gives the place a distinctive atmosphere. It's usually not so crowded that you can't find a table. They also have outdoor seating for the summer, and their salads paired with beer make for a delightful light meal. They feature a rotating beer selection, and they often have my favorite seasonal brew.
