North Star Diner Shanghai Room

The Shanghai Room, located inside the North Star Diner, is a delightful treat! It is a popular spot in Greenwood that offers fantastic karaoke on Fridays through Sundays from 9pm until around 1am with KJs Sav and Jack D. Be sure to arrive early to secure a spot for your friends!

This small restaurant is pretty cool. They offer a delicious and affordable fast-food style burger with fries for only $7.50, which is a fantastic deal. The staff member was friendly, and the booths were comfortable. I definitely plan on coming back.

After seeing the diverse range of comics at this restaurant, you will truly appreciate the variety of life. My experience on Friday the 1st was incredibly enjoyable, as we were entertained by a mix of clean and provocative humor from a diverse group of comedians. The host, who was both funny and attractive, added to the lively atmosphere of the club. What stood out to me was the inclusivity of the venue, with people from various backgrounds and orientations coming together to have a great time. Unlike other clubs where everyone may look different but think the same, this establishment welcomed different viewpoints and encouraged good-natured ribbing among patrons. I prefer spaces like these over ones where language is censored, as true inclusion means embracing diversity in all its forms.

The spirit of Anthony Bourdain still fills this little dive bar with energy. The Shanghai Room has been a Seattle must stop for decades some people don't like dive bars and that's fine if you do this is one of the best you'll ever find. The night we were there they had comedy and when that was over we did karaoke till two in the morning, seriously one of the best nights I've had in a long time.

Make no mistake this is a dive bar but not a depressing dive bar the energy in this place was great it was even a free comedy show going on some of the comedians were funny some of the comedians were less funny, but everyone was having a really good time I tried the French fries with the tartar sauce very tasty.
