Service was generally ok; the server didn't get one of our orders, but at least we weren't charged for it. And the portions were huge; without the order we were all still stuffed. I loved the industrial look of the restaurant. Must go back and try some of the other offerings; everyone got fries, which we didn't get!
Stop browsing. Eat here. This place is awesome. We had cocktails (delicious) and my husband had the ribs plate. He is a serious smokehead and was really impressed. I had the smoked tomato soup which was remarkably good very smoky, a little spicy, and perfectly accented with smoked Gouda toast.
WORST EXPERIENCE, POOR MGMT, DISGRACEFUL, and BARTENDER DRUNK. Went to Blue Ridge Sunday night with my father in law and wife. We were in good spirits and were seated inside for dinner. All was going well and we were experiencing a great meal and enjoying conversation when all of a sudden things changed. The music which was playing was turned up pretty loud. We nicely asked our waitress if they could turn it down and she was nice and complied. 5 minutes later it was turned up louder and my father in law got up, went to the bar to ask the bartender to turn it down. Once again she complied and the music went to a normal level. 2 minutes later it was turned up again. We really could not hear each other talk at the table. We told our waitress who then some person came over who said they were the manager apologizing. It was just so strange. Finally as we left the building the bartender was sitting on a couch by the front door and looked totally wasted drunk. My wife nicely went up to her and told her how she could have made a better decision about messing with the volume on the stereo. The bartender in front of the owner told my wife she was a ****. The owner shushed her bartender and then tried to explain away the problem to us. We left feeling like they ran a dump truck over us. I highly recommend you do not frequent this establishment. Very disappointed as it was a go to spot for us. Clearly ownership needs to learn about how to treat its customers.
Yelp reviews brought me here and I have a mixed review. The waiter was pretty off he didn't crack a smile and seemed sluggish. We ordered the shrimp Louie salad, smash burger and fries. We dined outside and it was lovely! Two of the 3 dishes we ordered arrived so that was a disappointment. The fries never made it to us and nor did the waiter. After the food was dropped off we didn't see him until my husband went looking for him to ask if the fries were not ordered please don't bother. He agreed we ordered them but he did not and if we wanted to wait he'd bring them so we passed. He only returned again with the bill which I asked if I could order the panna cotta to go and he talked me out of it stating it isn't really made to go double Smash burger was seasoned well and very tasty I'd add a dash of mustard or a pickle on the side if I was asked but like I said the waiter never checked on us. The salad is $25 so I expected it to be wonderful and it was boring! Shredded soggy lettuce is a big boo in a shrimp Louie point blank period no lemon wedge is another where has anyone ever had anything seafood where a lemon wedge didn't accompany the dish? Also it was very salty I don't know if it was in the dressing but way too salty and I like salty foods. I specifically went there for that salad and it was a big old disappointment Will I return I don't know maybe for that dessert but if I get that guy as my waiter again I'd bail quickly!
Really tasty food with an interesting menu. Enjoyed steak with huckleberries (delicious!! . Fried green tomato sandwich for the vegetarian in our group. She was very happy! Desert was a pumpkin bread pudding, not too sweet super tasty!! Good wine list, tasty cocktails. Service was friendly. Definitely be back here hopefully sooner then later!
