Tulay Turkish - Sefton

We are gluten and dairy free. The waiter was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and showed us that there were several options for us. We had falafel, lamb stew and lamb and aubergine. Effes is on draft and I would recommend you try the Turkish wine. The Ephesus wine was really good.

We visited early evening on saturday. Staff were friendly and attentive without pestering. Food was gorgeous. 2 main meals with 2 sises and 2 drinks each came to £55. The atmosphere wss nice and seemed to have lots of returning customers. We will be back soon.

You literally can’t fault anything here. The staff are so friendly. The food is the best on south road. So much choice and so tasty and fresh. We go as a treat when we can get a sitter but would go more often if we could.

We have been coming here for years and it’s always the same staff, always a nice friendly welcome. The food is just absolutely gorgeous never have we had a bad experience in this restaurant and no matter the time and how many people your with they get you a table I rang last year on New Year’s Eve and they got 10 of us in. Always very grateful for this. I would recommend the mixed Adana it is out of this world.

Had another fabulous meal at Tulay. We shared starters and had hummus and fab Turkish bread and salmon filo rolls. Husband had the Mixed kebab with is a large selection of meats/kebabs very lean lamb included and his favourite meal here. I had the lamb shank cooked so meat falls off bone served in a sauce with potatoes and carrots/onions superb meal. Meals served with rice or chips and salad. Great service and wines at decent prices. Warn welcome and recommended. 5 mins stroll from Waterloo train station.
