The sambal is ok, although for me there is another lapo in Semarang with better sambal and more spicy. Soup is good but there is another place which is better. I didnt eat saksang though, because i dont like saksang.
More of a Chinese restaurant than a Batakese Lapo. Tried the fried pork here. It was more of a Chinese 'sio bak ' than the supposedly traditional Batakese 'tanggo goreng '. The owner might need to reconsider the name 'Lapo '.
I really can't stop smiling while we finish our commands, I think I'm not so free as this little place is hidden, or at least in front of me. recommended? high! though, I'm salt person, and I've put more salt on them. in any case will come again!
They serve several variant Batak style of pork dishes, but roasted pork with sambal is the best. So crunchy and crispy. Come earlier during lunch time, otherwise it is sold out
Delicious and incredibly cheap! compared to the price of other pork, I spent less on this place, lunch for 3 people and all satisfied. very recommended, small place with home atmosphere, crispy pork on top nocth! delicate yet crippled, only cash, no debit/fashless, parking limited, good service, clean and tasty!
