From the food to the service everything was very good and on top of that it's a quite restaurant which is a plus for us, we can enjoy a very good meal while having also a good conversation without having to shout. The only suggestion is to work a little bit the decor lightning of the restaurant.
It may look like your average restaurant, but Verdure is anything but! I wandered in with my girlfriend on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of something cooking. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 8:00 pm) but we managed to snag a table. We ordered the salmon with mango and the thousand leafs (Veggy). When our dishes arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. The crust of the thousand leafs was crisp, flavorful, and chewy, the toppings worked together beautifully. The salmon with mango... WOW! I still can’t find the specific words to describe it. The chef (Ricardo) came to our table and we were intrigued but totally speechless. Just smiles were shared of satisfaction. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit. Thank you Verdure for the amazing experience and deliciousness of your space. Cheers. Tiago Pinto Mariana Sotero
We had a wonderful dining experience! Food was fantastic, the staff friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. An adventure of tastes and textures; all elegantly arranged. Our starter consisted of oysters, with pickled red onions and caviar. The ingredients texture and taste complemented each other, a soft kiss of the ocean, crisp pickled onions and the caviar to sweeten the aftertaste. We also enjoyed a wonderful dry sparkling wine with freshly baked bread and butter infused with chorizo, truffle or herbs. The main course consisted of Lamb rib chops brilliantly seared with tender rose-colored meat. The other main course was swordfish with rice. The rice was served with razor clamps and herbs giving it a fantastic tangy feel. A trademark of Portuguese food and difficult to get right.Dessert consisted of a new interpretation of Pavlova. It had crunchy merengue, soft cream infused with blue cheese. The dessert had beautiful eatable flowers, fresh figs, pecan nuts, and honey sprinkled on top. This restaurant deserves 5 stars and a visit. A must, if you are in Quinta do Conde!
We had a very nice dinner at Verdure. Location is a bit unexpected. Food is really good, tasty, fresh and wonderful laid out on the plates. Staff helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Gazpacho is really good. I had the lamb as the main course..., really well done. Overall highly recommended. Would love to come back.
Great place to simply enjoy the beauty of food! Extremely well prepared food (chef quality) and great ambience! People are very kind and professional. Definitely to repeat
