There are both tables inside and outside on a large terrace overlooking the street below. There was several tables which were reserved, but fortunately a couple still vacant to which we were directed by a charming waiter. Basically bare with a glass table top, the waiter put a placemat, serviette and cutlery on the table. The menu is quite extensive, but is basically, pizza, lasagnes and other pasta. Both starters and salads were also on offer. We chose a lasagne and a pizza, together with an half jug of the house red wine, which was palatable. A measure of its popularity, was the steady stream of locals, clearly known to the staff, who had climbed the stairs after us and by around 8.00 pm, the restaurant was virtually full, with seats occupied both inside and on the terrace. Service was good, and both dishes arrived piping hot within a reasonable amount of time, proving that each dish was cooked to order. In fact the lasagne appeared on the plate still sizzling. This restaurant is cheap and cheerful with no pretensions, but with good quality ingredients, and for a one off, for patrons who are used to large portions of vegetables, it was a good meal. For people wanting either lasagne or pizzas, this restaurant is far better than a 'high street chain ' as witnessed by the amount of guests eating there on a Sunday evening.
