I got their Danish with Mascarpone cheese cream filling for the road it was heavenly!!! It was flaky and crisp and the cream was just enough sweet with real blueberries on top! The Italian bread is rustic with nice crust and soft middle. And the best surprise was their Almond marzipan cookie it brought me back to my childhood in Europe. It was just enough marzipan and plenty of toasted almonds on top! I’m glad I don’t live in Sheboygan or I would be there daily treating myself to these sweet treats! Can’t wait to try their cafe menu!
Heard a lot about this spot. Great food. Definitely would go back. Service was slow, but we were fine waiting because the host explained they were short staffed. They kindly let us sit outside 15 minutes before the waitstaff was ready so my little guy could sit down at a table. Great fresh food. Best cheese curds I’ve had in Wisconsin. Light airy and cheesy. Not greasy. Opted for some tostadas, **** Mary and other offerings. Also very appreciative of the understanding, after we asked (and promised two adult paying customers) if we could bring separate food for my son who has 10+ allergies and sensitivities.
We visited on a weekend right around when they opened. It’s a cute place. The food was delicious they have coffee and lots of options for breakfast. The food was but I like that they source from local. It’s semi kid friendly they have high chairs and booster seats but no kids menu. My kids ended up splitting a meal. We also did not see a changing table in the bathroom but we may have missed it. Overall, good experience though.
We breakfasted in several small Sheboygan restaurants this week. They were all pretty good and mainly separated by the servers. Generally we read and recoiled from the menu wanting only food for one day. So the negotiation went something like this; ' we really want a child meal, so from the menu, please may we have one egg, over easy, wheat toast, one sausage patty, 2 pieces bacon, coffee and water. 'Waitress, sure honey ' and a $6 bill followed. I hear the bill for 3 was $70 and non negotiable. AVOID or negotiate better than we did.
