I hope they keep a version of this pasta on their menu because it is delicious! For Dessert we enjoyed their extremely decadent black forest trifle and sticky... toffee pudding. Yummy!
Although the outside of the restaurant was not what you expected was inside simple, but clean. The service of the friendly waitress was excellent, the variety of foods was hard to choose a choice, all seemed great. We chose seafood cahowder...pan fried haddock, both were excellent. Too full to get a dessert. Wouldn't hesitate to eat them again when in Shelburne. I would recommend you try and be surprised.
We were happy to dine in at the Galley last night! We love the warm, welcoming atmosphere. Our server was wonderful. The fries, a Galley specialty, were as yummy as ever. My husband enjoyed the pan-fried haddock coated in cornflour, while I enjoyed one of...my favorites, the fish taco. We'll be back!
Delish. Fish taco was crispy and well seasoned. Bacon and bleu burger could compete in Burger Week. Home cut fries were perfectly cooked. And great service too.
The ship Galley has updated its menu with many new options, but we decided to explore the new participants in a future visit. We enjoyed some old favorites (the Boiler Room Burger for my husband, the chef Burger for me, both with handmade frits,... the best around). We caught it with Chocolate Pâté for Dessert. It's so delicious!
