Bay Pointe Grille - Shelbyville

Bright, open, modern, clean and welcoming...offering a fantastic view of lake life from the dining room and deck.

Our food was delicious and our waitress was friendly and attentive. Because there was no outside seating, due to the weather, we sat in the middle section. It was noisy. We were seated below a ceiling fan rotating on high, and next to the air conditioner. It was breezy and often chilly. Next time, I would sit in the main dining room for a more relaxing experience.

We were not able to get outdoor seating even with making a reservation. A couple in line before us got the last outdoor table without a reservation, however the Hightop tables in the bar adjacent to the patio were very comfortable and had a decent view of the lake. We went for the lake view! People with reservations should get priority, those without reservation should be given tables inside the restaurant unless the outdoor patio is wide open, in my opinion.

Bay Point Bar Grille had amazing venue right on the water ! You could sit outside, in the middle between outside and inside, or completely inside. The server, Beth was incredibly sweet and timely! It was great food at good at a fair price and they made my mom feel special for her birthday ! What a fun place to enjoy a good fancy meal and celebrate a birthday!

We were one of just a couple tables seated outside due to the hot and humid weather. I did have to wait approximately 5 minutes for the hostess to show up. There were only 3 tables of people at that time. We were finally seated and had a very enjoyable meal. The lake was starting the get busy and the were preparing for a wedding later that day. All in all it was a lovely experience.
