Camino Viejo Mexican - Sherman

My Best friend, her daughter, and I went out to lunch. I just moved here, and they came to visit. We went all out! Queso (So good!!! Didn't taste like Velveeta which I appreciate. We each had a meal that had us crying TY to the food gods!! However thebest was still yet to come!! Dessert wad LITERALLY HEAVEN! I can't wait to bring my husband! I will be coming back again andagain! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC ????

Food and service was excellent ????. I really enjoyed the chips and salsa. I was amazed at how great the freshly prepared guacamole ???? was. I ate the Enchiladas del Rancho. It was delicious.

Loved loved this local hot spot!!!! Had the fish tacos with beans and spinach casserole. Such good flavors and the hot grilled fish was flaky and perfectly seasoned. Adding the slaw, green sauce and avocado kept it light and still filling. Can?t get overwhat a gem this place is. We were passing through but I would go off the beaten path to eat here again! My dinner buddies hadthe taco salad, the dinner nachos with chicken and the special of the day a burrito bowl. All of us raved! The large sizewhite queso was plentiful and yummy and the complimentary chips and salsa were better than any we had enjoyed in chainrestaurants!

I have been horribly offended by the meals we received tonight. Won?t be back for awhile. Buyer beware! So this is what I have been excitedly looking for great Tex-Mex! Today we tried the cheese enchiladas w/beans and rice as our sides, a mexicansampler, and of course guacamole! No bites left it was so good, just wish I had thought about saving room for sopapilla?s????Okay here is the only opportunity I found for improvement. Add more filling in the cheese enchiladas, the flavor can handle it.

Party of 10. Service was great. Good food. We’re going back soon.
